Virtual reality and Star Wars when combined can be very dangerous. Well, dangerous in a good way since it’s guaranteed to drive fans crazy happy.
Fortunately, it won’t have to be too long before people can experience an actual Star Wars virtual reality game.
The trailer for a Star Wars VR game titled Star Wars: Trials on Tatooine might have been leaked on YouTube by ILMVisualFX channel, according to Engagdet.
The trailer had been shared as public but it was later set to private.
Trials on Tatooine is a project being developed by LucasFilm’s Industrial Light and Magic Experience Lab (ILMxLAB). The project, which has been in the works for some time now, was initially pegged for release alongside Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Since it was a tie-in project with HTC’s Vive headset, the release for Trials on Tatooine had been delayed.
There’s no way of seeing the trailer publicly anymore, but some really awesome people in the Internet managed to take screenshots of the trailer.
