Via IGN.com:
Director Rian Johnson has confirmed that Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be the longest film in the franchise so far, coming in at 150 minutes (2 and a half hours) including credits. The longest Star Wars film was previously The Revenge of the Sith at 140 minutes. The Force Awakens came in at a (relatively) slimmer 124 minutes.
Speaking at a press conference in Paris attended by IGN France, Johnson also said that Rogue One: A Star Wars Story director Gareth Edwards would have a cameo in the new film.
However, he wouldn’t confirm the long-standing rumour that Prince William would make a background appearance as a Stormtrooper.
Johnson also compared working on The Last Jedi to his previous independent films: “Disney gave us a real freedom in writing. It was something very organic. For me, it was like when I worked on my old movies.”
