Carrie Fisher’s daughter Billie Lourd will receive all her mother’s future royalties from the Star Wars franchise. Fisher, who played Princess Leia in the beloved science-fiction franchise, passed away in December 2016 at the age of 60, days after suffering a cardiac arrest on a flight from London to Los Angeles.
The executors of her estate have now filed documents to show that they have completed their administrative tasks and paid off the late star’s debts, according to The Blast. The papers also revealed that Billie, 26, as the sole beneficiary of the Carrie Fisher Living Trust, will collect all of Carrie’s future Star Wars earnings and Princess Leia-related royalties.
