Today, we kick off another great giveaway. The next prize up for grabs is a YODA & R2-D2 DAGOBAH TWO PACK ARTFX+ from Kotobukiya!

This giveaway is open Worldwide (please note we will cover shipping, by any international winners would be responsible for any import or customs fees, etc.  

R2-D2’s paint reflects his dirt and mud covered appearance from his time spent on Dagobah in Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.  As a special bonus, a translucent spirit version of Yoda is included.

Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi ARTFX+ Statue from Kotobukiya

After focusing on The Force Awakens and Rogue One Kotobukiya returns to the film that started it all and the original Jedi with OBI-WAN KENOBI from A New Hope! Left alone to watch over young Luke Skywalker on Tatooine, Obi-Wan Kenobi was a powerful Force wielder and former galactic hero. When the time came he took up his lightsaber once again to help train the young man and it brought him into direct conflict with the Empire and Darth Vader aboard the first Death Star. Kenobi joins the ARTFX+ series in a powerful presentation, brought to life wielding his azure lightsaber and looking like he’s stepped right off the screen. He holds his iconic weapon in front of him in a defensive stance, preparing for the final duel against his former student and friend. The venerable Jedi has never looked so good with an incredibly detailed sculpt that captures his intricate flowing robes as well as his Alec Guinness-inspired head sculpt. Obi-Wan comes with interchangeable parts so you can customize your display with your Jedi wearing his hood over his head or lowered, and he comes with a separate empty robe and deactivated lightsaber to depict his mysterious disappearance and becoming one with the force!

This year at Kotobukiya, we saw a few more new items to add to an already great lineup for 2016. Our still image gallery can be found on page 2. There is very cool new BB-8 ice tray, 2 two chopstick sets and BB-8 set with R2 and C-3PO, who will have magnets in his base do you can position him around the base. The first order Stormtroopers will come with a 3 color pauldrons so you can customize on your own and army build! Check out some close ups of all the items shown below!

Giveaway #2 – The 12 Year Hunt

This idea was sent in by a reader back in 2010, we have done it a few times since, and it’s always fun! It won’t be for everyone, but it will be fun for those who choose to take part.

The first thing you need to do is print out the main 12 year logo below, you will need to include this in ALL photos to verify they are your photos and taken for this giveaway. On most computers you can simply right click and print it, you can also click here for the URL to just the image for those printing from a mobile phone or device.

Okay, now look at the list of 12 obscure items below. Find each of them or go to the location, place the logo you printed out in front of them and once you have all 12 done, email the images to us at YodasnewsAnniversary@gmail.com with the subject “12 Year Hunt” – We WILL be sharing some of the pictures online and on social media, so make sure what is in your photos is okay for the public to see.

There will be TWO Winners (and it is possible for the same person to win both).

We will pick one random person from all the people who find all items or locations and send in 12 correct photos (early bird winner is eligible and part of the random pool the grand prize will be selected from). You must send in all your pictures before 11:59pm EST on 2/7/16. The random winner will get all 15 items listed above under Grand Prize.

Recap, you need to send 12 unique pictures and each one must include the logo above and be an actual picture – no google images or Photoshop is allowed. Of course, you will have to improvise (like for the unicorn – think a plush, a toy, make one out of clay, etc….)
