With all the buzz about the upcoming new Star Wars film I wanting to do an illustration of a character from the series whether it be from the new films or previous trilogies.  Even though I’ve done a piece featuring Yoda before I felt obligated to try a rendering him in Flash in a stylization similar to some of my more recent work.

Mid way through the rendering I got the notion to try using the initial art to make a force ghost version that would use the art from the default version.  In the end it seems to have turned out quite well with some clever planning and problem solving.

I may very well do another in the future perhaps before the new film comes out?…
