After watching the Star Wars films, there’s no doubt that most of us began pretending our regular bicycles were actually the hovering Speeder bikes used on Endor.
While the pretending likely lasted several weeks (or months, or years), it turns out the people at Vintage Works never truly let the fantasy go.
As the video below shows, the bike first introduced in Return of the Jedi has been replicated to mimic a fully functioning Speeder – sans the hovering, of course.
While it probably can’t seamlessly weave you through forests, the recreation is surprisingly realistic. The handlebars can be used to steer the motorcycle and flaps at the front, while a sound system has been installed which blares out effects.
Before you start envisioning a Speeder-coasting existence again, though, it unfortunately appears as if this is just a one-off from the company.
