Via Cnet.com:
Binge or binge not. There is no try.
Foxtel has your long weekend sorted with news it will launch a pop-up Star Wars channel for the October long weekend.
The movie marathon will feature all seven movies in the saga, running in order from “The Phantom Menace” to “The Force Awakens” (sorry folks, no “Clone Wars”). The films will run from 6 a.m. on Friday, September 30 (AEST) through to Monday, October 3.
Foxtel is certainly upping the ante with its geek-friendly programming. The pay TV channel celebrated the 50th anniversary of Star Trek with a marathon of movies from that other Star franchise, and just announced that it will expand its HBO catalogue next year, with Game of Thrones available to watch on catch up 24 hours a day.
Sure, you’ll probably have to time your naps to coincide with Episodes I, II and III on Star Wars weekend, but there’s seriously good long weekend viewing in your future.
