Sony is set to take full advantage of the Star Wars hype later this year by releasing two limited edition PS4 consoles complete with Darth Vader styling. Better yet, they both include the revised CUH-1200 model PS4, which uses a fifth less power.
Star Wars Battlefront is set for release on November 17 in the US, and Sony has decided to offer a bundle including a Deluxe Edition of the game. However, it’s the PS4 that’s arguably as much of a draw as the game itself. The 500GB console has an image of Darth Vader on the side and the Star Wars logo printed across the top. The included DualShock 4 is styled like Vader’s chest panel as well as having the Star Wars logo printed across the touchpad.
To sweeten the deal yet further, the bundle includes download versions of Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, and Star Wars Bounty Hunter complete with enhanced graphics and trophy support.
If Battlefront isn’t a game you are interested in, Sony has an alternative. The same Vader PS4 will be available exclusively at Wal-mart with Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition, Disney Infinity Base, Rise Against the Empire Play Set Pack (Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa figures included), Boba Fett figure, and the same set of downloadable Star Wars classic games mentioned above.
If you don’t want the limited edition Star Wars PS4, Sony will also be offering a standard black PS4 bundle including Star Wars Battlefront and the four Star Wars classic game downloads on November 17. Basically all bases are covered and November is likely going to be a very good consoles sales month for Sony.
