Via Cnet.com:
So a Stormtrooper walks into a cantina and the bartender asks: Why the long face?
Yeah, yeah, an old joke, but it really works with the elongated-face Stormtrooper concept art shared by the official Star Wars Twitter account.
The account described the unused armor as having a “haunting, almost alien quality,” but fans and Twitter followers spotted a resemblance to another Star Wars character, cyborg commander Grievous.
The aptly named Grievous was a Kaleesh warlord who chose to be rebuilt and turned into a deadly cyborg who was introduced in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” and then appeared in the 2005 film “Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.” But it’s his appearance that struck fans looking at the unused Stormtrooper image, which like Grievous, has a lengthened face, sunken, tilted eyes and an almost Weimaraner-like muzzle.
