These football kits designed by Nerea Palacios look like they are from a galaxy far, far away – and that’s because they are.

The kits are based on the Star Wars franchise, with designs for all the main characters, and they look fantastic.

Should Han Solo, R2-D2, C-3PO and the rest ever decide to form a five-a-side team for a weekly kickabout, then they know exactly where to look for a home strip.

Palacios has a long-held ambition to design kits for Nike, something she makes no secret off with her social media profiles. The designs featured on her website suggest she has a talent when it comes to creating stylish and unusual football strips.

This isn’t the first time she has created kits based on a TV series or film, having previously given Game of Thrones the football kit treatment.

And should the Star Wars-themed kits ever make it on to a football pitch, they will be far from the worst outfit ever worn by a football team.
