Star Wars Battlefront’s Lead Designer Dennis Brännvall is hugely respected within the gaming community.

That’s mainly because he’s so forthcoming when talking to fans, listening to feedback and providing regular updates on ways to improve the popular Sci-Fi shooter released last Christmas.

In the last few days Brännvall took some time out to field a few questions from the community once again and in the process of provided a number of very interested tidbits of information about what could be in store for the game moving forward.

First off, Brännvall has confirmed that “There will definitely be imperial customization” alongside the Death Star DLC planned for later this year, when responding to a question from Twiter user @SWallop123, who asked “could we see for the upcoming death star Tie Fighter pilot and ATST Pilots in Star Wars battlefront as charters”.

In addition, Twitter user @skilllz4sale sent a list of potential Rebel player skins to Brännvall, this included: x-wing pilot (orange), a-wing pilot (green), wookie, mon calamari, bith, trandoshan, chiss.

However, while Brännvall praised a number of the selections, but revealed that “Mon calamari wouldn’t work technically with our character setup.”

Mon Calamari for those who don’t remember where the squid like creatures. Still unsure, Admiral Ackbar who famously said “it’s a trap” was a Mon Calamari.

When asked for an explanation as to why it wouldn’t work, Brännvall eloquantly explained that the Mon Calaramari are “much smaller and don’t run like a human does, among other things.”
