The Washington DC Area Star Wars Collecting Club (DCSWCC) is proud to announce its all-new exclusive giveaway for Celebration Anaheim – forty different retro mini trading cards.

Each day of Celebration, successful participants in one of the fun and easy games at the club’s booth in the main Exhibit Hall will be rewarded with a sealed pack containing nine cards.  A different pack of cards will be available each day of Celebration – visitors to their booth all four days of Celebration will have a chance to get all four packs.  “But wait,” you say, “that only adds up to 36 cards!”  Obtaining the four remaining “chase” cards will be slightly more complicated, but those details, along with a full reveal of all the card images, will be at booth #976.  The card designs were inspired by baseball cards of the early 1900’s and are authorized by Lucasfilm Ltd.  There are only 300 complete sets being given away, only at Celebration, so they won’t be around for long.

The club will also be selling its sixth biannual charity pin at Celebration.  This Lucasfilm-approved full-color cloisonné lapel pin features Commander Cody holding a holographic Washington Monument.  Each $10 pin is individually numbered and all proceeds benefit the Children’s Inn at National Institutes of Health.
