More Confirmation Vader is in Rebels via The WolfPack Podcast
A few days before SDCC kicked off, we posted carded images from the Rebels line which featured Darth Vader WITH the Rebels logo on the card. At SDCC, we spoke to Hasbro about this, and while they did not specify the Darth Vader figure, they DID say that they paid close attention to each figure and made sure only characters from Rebels has the logo on them (watch the Q&A session here).
Today, our friends at The WolfPack Podcast found an update to the Hasbro website with all the latest Star Wars Rebels merchandise, one including the Rebels Darth Vader mask with the description “Want to feel just like your favorite Star Wars villain? Then strap on this incredible mask and battle the Rebels, just like the sinister Darth Vader from Star Wars Rebels! You’ll be the Dark Lord of the neighborhood when you battle in your Darth Vader mask!”

Today marked the release of the Star Wars: Rebels tie-in, Ezra’s Gamble. Ezra’s Gamble, written by Star Wars author Ryder Windham, is junior novel that serves as a prequel for Rebels, coming in October. This is our first real look into the people and places of Rebels, and while only a junior novel, did have several expectations. It easily accomplished those goals and then some. Ezra’s Gamble is an exceptionally well-crafted book that gives readers a detailed look into life on Lothal and provides an entertaining adventure for our protagonist, Ezra.

New LEGO sets at LEGO Stores!
We stopped by the LEGO Store in King of Prussia, PA tonight and spotted all the new sets (mixed in with the older ones) on the shelf. We posted the images via a Facebook Gallery, click here or below to check them out.
We also spotted them at two local Target stores and readers on FB reporting seeing them at Toys “R” Us as well. If you don’t have any of these stores local, they are all on Amazon.com with a 8/1 ship date, you can see those at this link.

Hasbro Q&A Session at SDCC 2014 Video!
Yesterday, we had an opportunity to meet with William Rawley and Jeff Labovitz from Hasbro and ask them the questions our readers sent it, we got in over 80 questions but only had time to ask about a dozen of them.
Check out the video below and see what they had to say about the new Saga Legends and Mission Series lines, why the carded images have the word “Rebels” under them and some do not, about the 5 POA figures and the appeal of them for older collectors, female characters in the 3.75 lines, will there be a 1st day of issue carding for Rebels like there was for The Clone Wars, more Droid Factory Build-A-Droid astromech figures at Disney, how would you describe the items you are working on for Episode 7 and more!

SDCC Hasbro Booth! TAKE 2!
As always, Hasbro holds off on showing the new reveals until after the presentation, so we made a second pass at the the booth after our one on one Q&A (to be posted shortly, where we asked as many of the readers questions as they let us).
Check out the updates to the booth including (to the 6″ line) Wampa, TaunTaun, Hoth Luke, Hoth Han, Palpy, Bossk, TIE Fighter, Clone Trooper Lieutenant and the Target Exclsuive Shadow Troopers and Speeder Bike.
For the 3 3/4″ line we have Commander’s Doom and Wolffe, Yavin Leia, Chewie, Vander, Vader (Yoda’s test) and Rex!
