STAR WARS: A LICENSING EMPIRE
Via Fun.com:
Remember a long time ago, here in this galaxy, when Star Wars was just a movie? Neither do we! It’s no surprise that Star Wars is one of the most valuable franchises today and it’s mostly due to all the licensed merchandise that’s available out there. Sure, things started small with books and action figures (have you seen how many Luke Skywalker action figures there are?), but it’s grown into a colossal business. You can get Star Wars shoes, purses, slippers, bathrobes, pajamas, toasters, jewelry… pretty much anything you can think of!
If you add everything up – all the way down to Star Wars branded macaroni and cheese – you’ll find that Star Wars merchandise sales exceeded a quarter of a billion dollars last year alone! That’s a whole lot of noodles! As much as we’d like to go into every detail, we’d prefer to use our time to keep watching Star Wars movies on the regular. Here’s a look at amount of Star Wars movies, books, and toys produced since the franchise launched 40 years ago.

Just about anything nowadays can constitute as a work of art. From LEGOS to paper mache, society is absolutely fascinated with the human mind and what it can do. With all these rumors surrounding these Rogue One re-shoots, it’s nice to take a step back and marvel at something that cannot be overlooked.
A popular Sushi chef from Japan named Okitsugu Kado took to his Twitter account to post some amazing pictures showcasing his talent and his love for all things Star Wars.
For over ten years, Kado has been crafting the most unique Sushi plates in the entire galaxy. Using mostly vegetables, Kado carefully sculpts these Sushi plates into popular characters from the Star Wars franchise. Characters such as Jawas, Stormtroopers, and iconic droids can be seen from a few of these plates. Plus, you’ll get a chance to see major characters like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Finn and Rey, as well Darth Vader!

Groom And His Mother Perform A Star Wars Themed Wedding Dance
Via Dailymail.co.uk:
At a wedding, the bride and groom’s first dance normally takes centre stage.
However, if this video is anything to go by, perhaps dances by grooms and their mothers should be given more attention.
The brilliant footage shows groom Nathan Sharpton and his mother, Teddi, having the time of their life in a choreographed dance to the iconic Star Wars theme.
While John Williams’ iconic music plays, guests cheer and laugh as mother and son glide through their steps and turns.
However 50 seconds into the routine, the action really kicks off.

“To be honest It was just one of those weird flashes of inspiration that suddenly came to me,” Stone told Mashable.
“I’m a big fan of wordplay and puns and stupid jokes in general, and obviously I really like Star Wars, so those two things just sort of clicked into place in my mind one day.”

Padawans Played ‘Star Wars’ Music With Lightsaber Violin Bows
Via Uproxx.com:
If you woke up and thought to yourself, “man, I sure would love to see an unbearably cute Star Wars fan tribute today,” then we’ve got some wonderful news for you. It comes in the form of this video of a small army of violin-wielding padawans putting on an exceptional string performance of various pieces of music from the franchise. You can check out the video above, and trust us, it’s significantly more stirring than you’re expecting.
First of all, seriously, they sound amazing. Even setting aside the jedi robes and the lightsaber violin bows (LIGHTSABER VIOLIN BOWS, YOU GUYS), the arrangement is genuinely exceptional. These kids are crazy talented and it’d be cool enough to just watch them kill it at this recital. That being said, it certainly doesn’t hurt that they’re wearing Jedi robes and playing violin with lit-up lightsaber bows. Is that not the most wonderful sentence?
We all know Star Wars fans tend to go all-out in their love for the franchise, even those in high places (hey, even Whataburger gets hype for it), so it’s always cool to see young fans going all-in on their enthusiasm for galaxies far, far away.
The Best Cars for Star Wars
Via usnews.rankingandreview.com:
As they traverse foreign planets, the heroes and villains of “Star Wars” cruise around on speeders, podracers, and even tauntauns. But if the next intergalactic battle was staged on Planet Earth, Suburbans may replace sandcrawlers, and head-to-head competitions would call for sports cars instead of starfighters.
Whether Han Solo wants to trade in his Millennium Falcon to support a new Earth-bound smuggling operation, or should the latest Jedi knight need an auto that’s both stealthy and swift, we’ve got them covered. These are the best cars for “Star Wars.”
