‘Rogue One’ Director Gareth Edwards on Why ‘Star Wars’ Still Matters

Gareth Edwards looks tired.

It’s the kind of fatigue you see on the faces of filmmakers after they’ve put the finishing touches on major motion pictures and have to summon a second (third? fourth?) wind to survive the press cycle. A stiff breeze could knock him over. But the director of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is smart and alert and clearly as much in love with George Lucas’ classic science fiction universe now as he was when he first signed to to make Lucasfilm’s first Star Wars spin-off movie. He’s also the kind of filmmaker who is comfortable naming The Battle of Algiers as an influence on his space opera.

Opening of Star Wars Rogue One: A Star Wars Story on December 15th Razor’s Edge Promo!

Hey Everyone. #RazorsedgeCollectibles is Co Hosting the Opening of Star Wars Rogue One: A Star Wars Story on December 15th at the Spotlight Theatres Majestic Cinema 7 in Matamoras PA. The Festivities will start at 5 PM on the 15th. They will have a Star Wars Experience Setup with a Life Size Gentle Giant, Ltd. Darth Vader Monument which you can take photos with. We will have a few members of the Garrison Carida walking around in costume to greet everyone and to take photos with. We will also have a Star Wars Collectibles and Toy Display Setup and we will be giving away Free Movie Tickets and other Goodies for Opening Night to Random People Online/At the Theater.  So come on down, bring the kiddies for a Fun Filled Star Wars Night. The Pike County Chamber of Commerce will also be giving away free tickets. They will announce their giveaway soon. Hoping to see you there. Happy Holidays !!!
