A Closer look at Hot Toys 1/6th Scale Sandtrooper – Pre-Order Now Live!

To all Star Wars One Sixth Scale collectors and anyone who loves Star Wars high end collectibles, Hot Toys just announced  some really awesome news.  Hot Toys has made the official announcement of their soon to be released 1/6 scale Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope Sandtroopers. I had the pleasure of seeing this bad boy on display at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2015 and trust me I was excited. It has been a few years since Sideshow Collectibles have put out their awesome 1/6 scale Sandtroopers so now all those collectors who missed out have a chance to get Hot Toys version.

Here is what Hot Toys had to say on their Facebook  regarding the announcement: “At Star Wars Celebration last month, the Hot Toys 1/6th scale Sandtrooper Collectible Figure was shown for the first time worldwide! Many Star Wars fans were excited to see this trooper making his first appearance and were in awe of the great details on this Imperial soldier! Today we are very happy to officially present this 1/6th scale Sandtrooper Collectible Figure from the classic Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope!

The highly-accurate Sandtrooper collectible figure is specially crafted based on the image Squad Leader on Tatooine. The specialized trooper features a meticulously crafted Sandtrooper armor and helmet with signature weathering effects, a highly detailed survival backpack, 3 types of blasters, a Patrol Droid as seen in the Special Edition of the film, a specially designed desert -themed figure stand!”
