SDCC Almost Here!

A week from today we will kick off our 2014 coverage of San Diego Comic Con with images and news from the show! We will be meeting with Gentle Giant, Sideshow, eFx, Kotboukiya, Hasbro, Qmx, Diamond and many others on our trip and want to make sure we ask them what YOU want to know!

Submit any questions you would like us to ask before 7/18 and we will do our best to get you an answer. Email them to Yodasnews@gmail.com with the subject like SDCC QUESTIONS.

Boba Fett Magnetic Metal Bottle Opener and Bust Bank Giveaway!

A few weeks ago,  Diamond Select Toys announced a new addition to the very popular  Metal bottle opener line (which already included the Millennium Falcon,  Death Star, Han in Carbonite, R2-D2 and Darth Vader) with the Boba Fett Magnetic Metal Bottle and in typical Yodasnews fashion,  we secured a great giveaway for you guys to get one, along with a very cool Boba Bust Bank!

This is the 1st of 2 giveaways we are doing this month with Diamond Select Toys.  It’s very easy to enter and this is open worldwide to all our readers, starting on Monday 7/14 at 12:01am EST and ending on Thursday 7/17 at 11:59pm EST. All you need to do is share the picture below on any social media (Twitter, Instagram, Facebook) and hashtag #YodasnewsBobaGiveaway it’s that simple! DST Returns to San Diego Comic-Con, with Two Great Panels and Three Free Posters!

San Diego is the city so nice they gave it one name and decided to stick with it. But for one week out of every year, it unofficially becomes known as “Geek Paradise!” As the team at Diamond Select Toys and Art Asylum are all geeks themselves, they are happy to announce that they will once again be setting up a booth at this year’s Comic-Con International in San Diego, July 24-27, and hosting two panels for their fans!

Come by booth #2607 to check out the newest products, pick up the various exclusives, and fill some holes in your collection from the DST store! Build your own Minimate at the Build-A-Minimate booth, and pick up posters of original Marvel, Sin City and Jay & Silent Bob Minimates artwork that will be handed out throughout the weekend. Then come to two panels spotlighting DST’s upcoming releases!

Minimates may be tiny, but 2014 may be their biggest year yet! Diamond Select Toys Announces Exclusive SDCC Yoda!

It’s almost time for Comic-Con International in San Diego, and Diamond Select Toys will be hanging out at Booth 2607! They will have the Star Wars Spirit Yoda SDCC Exclusive Quarter Scale Vinyl Bank (A Diamond Select Toys Release)

DST’s 7-inch Yoda bank returns in spirit form, as a translucent blue vinyl figure exclusively available at SDCC! In scale to previously released Ultimate Quarter Scale action figures and banks, this new limited edition of the original Yoda bank includes a separate cane accessory, and has a coin slot on the back as well as an access door in the base.
