Battlelog Service Could Be Used For Star Wars: Battlefront 3!

Via Masterherald.com:

We are just getting to the last days of 2014 and it is time to start looking forward to the newest games that are being released next year. Coming into 2015, one of the most anticipated video games will be Star Wars: Battlefront 3 and now that the teaser for the new Star Wars movie has been released, the buzz surrounding the game is even louder. The teaser is quite short, but all that means is that you can watch it many times, over and over. If that does not get you excited about the new game, nothing will.

Star Wars: Battlefront 3 has high expectations, just like every other high quality video game franchise does. One of the most cited sources online claims that a new service is going to be used with the new game. According to that source, the Battlelog serviced, which is owner by Electronic Arts, has the Star Wars: Battlefront 3 video game listed on its site as a “latest works”. Does this mean Battlelog is going to be used for Star Wars: Battlefront 3? It would seem that way.

Other titles that are on the list include Battlefield: Hardline and Star Wars: Battlefront 3, but both of them are listed under the “soon” tag as of right now. The odds are good that the game will be included on the Battlelog service next year when it is released, but it has not been confirmed as of yet. The best part about the service is that players are most likely going to see iOS and Android versions of a companion app as well. Those that are playing via the browser on a PC will be able to log into the multi-player game in the browser.

Other than the details that are listed here, information about the new service is very limited. Fans that are loyal to the video game franchise might be thinking about how this will affect the game, but for others that are new, they might not even notice the difference in regards to what service is used to play the game.

DICE is the developer and the Uprise studio is owned by EA, so right now fans will be waiting for some kind of confirmation of the news. Some loyal players have already taken to the internet to show their pleasure or displeasure for the service taking over the game when it launches next year. The main concern is that Star Wars: Battlefront 3 is going to be bad shape and the hope is that it is not “screwed up” as some players put it.
