Jek Tono Porkins was a trader and pilot from Bestine IV who, along with the other Bestines, was forced to abandon his homeworld when the Galactic Empire chose it as the site of a new military base. After completing pilot training, he was assigned to Red Squadron and given the call sign Red Six. He fought heroically, but was killed in action over the Death Star during the Battle of Yavin.

Star Wars Rebels Masks
No images yet, but EE just added a link for Star Wars Rebels Masks and that includes 2x SW EZRA MASK, 1x SW STORMTROOPER MASK and 3x SW DARTH VADER MASK. The description says “Bring order to the galaxy with Hasbro’s Star Wars Rebels Masks Wave 1! This awesome set of masks brings you characters from the original Star Wars movie as well as Star Wars Rebels, the TV show that takes place just before it.”
This further confirms that we will see a mix of the original movies and the new cartoon mixed in waves from Hasbro. As we reported a few weeks ago with the Hero Falcon, the package will be in Rebels theme with a mention of the movies or show it’s from somewhere on the box.

Tom Cruise? In Star Wars? Could be…

Tom Cruise has been in talks for a role in Star Wars Episode 7, according to reports.
The actor is reportedly in line to make a cameo appearance in JJ Abrams’ blockbuster. Abrams is said to be keen to get the star involved as he ‘loves working with Tom whenever he gets the chance’, say The Sun. Plus, with star Harrison Ford out of action with a broken leg, there’s time for film bosses to create a part for the Edge Of Tomorrow star. The director produced Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol and is producing Mission: Impossible 5, which is out in the same week as Star Wars 7 in December next year. If Tom agrees to the bit-part, he stands to make megabucks at the box office in 2015.
A film insider told The Sun: ‘Tom has been in London for over a week and met up with JJ and some other people from Star Wars over the weekend.

Harrison Ford Down For Six Months?
According to this article on Hollywood.com, Harrison Ford will take six months off from filming to return to the U.S. for treatment on his shattered leg. It goes on to say:
“It has now emerged that he will not be able to return to film Star Wars: Episode VII for six months as he needs rehab treatment for his left limb, which was fixed with a number of metal plates during surgery this week. A source tells Britain’s The Sun newspaper, “Shooting is continuing, but Harrison won’t be back for months… the film company is looking into extending filming well into the second half of this year to allow Ford time to get back on his feet.” Ford is still receiving treatment at a hospital in England but will fly back to Los Angeles with his actress wife Calista Flockhart to work with a physiotherapist, according to editors at the publication.”
No official word from Disney or Ford, story developing…
