Ewan McGregor played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the “Star Wars” prequels, and while he won’t appear in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” the erstwhile Jedi has some thoughts on the film’s new lightsaber.
“I was a bit dubious about the hilt on the lightsaber,” McGregor told Vanity Fair, before goofing on the new breed of “Star Wars” heroes and villains. “If you know how to handle a lightsaber, like we did, you don’t need a hilt. That’s just one thing I think they might have got wrong.”
