The Internet is bursting with excitement to find out what’s going on with Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Princess Leia — except the man who invented them. Asked if he’s curious about the first “Star Wars” film in a decade — and the first in which he has had no involvement — George Lucas replied, “Not really.”

The hotly anticipated 88-second teaser for the forthcoming seventh film in the sci-fi series has been viewed by millions of people around the world, but not by the man who invented — and, if you believe some fans, subsequently ruined — “Star Wars”.

Lucas does intend to see the film when it hits theatres, however. “Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens” will be in cinemas in December 2015.
