Regal Robot is proud to present our 4.75″ tall sculptural table top decor piece inspired by the the prototype armor for Boba Fett™. Prior to the release of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back™, the intricate costume for Boba Fett underwent a number of changes in color and design. One of the most famous looks included a skull shape reminiscent of a bird skull on his left shoulder armor. Adorning the head of the skull is an “F”-like symbol that ultimately appeared on the character’s chest armor as part of the Mandalorian Crest decoration.
This line from Regal Robot is simply perfect, the right price, limited release and we even learn a thing or two with each piece. We got our hands on one a little earyl, he is shipping 2-3 business days after order.
The inspiration for this skull comes from an early prototype of Boba Fett’s armor. Photographs of this particular suit were widely used in early publicity for the character and turn up in books and even on action figure packaging. Further, fans learned in the Disney+ show, Under the Helmet: The Legacy of Boba Fett™, this suit was also worn in the San Anselmo Country Fair and Parade in 1978, Boba Fett’s first appearance to the public!
This highly detailed bird-like skull was sculpted by Regal Robot digital artist, Christian Maggi, with reference from Lucasfilm and is cast in solid resin by our teams in the U.S.A. Each Boba Fett-inspired skull is uniquely hand stained to accent the amazing details and wonderful organic sculpture.
