Rest easy Barge Backers in the US and Canada who have been wondering, we just CONFIRMED with Hasbro, the official statement is below:

“We can confirm that this item is only valid for shipment outside of the US and Canada. Any US or Canadian orders will not be processed.”

UPDATE – HASBRO HAS E-MAILED US THE FOLLOWING:

As promised, Hasbro’s Star Wars The Vintage Collection Jabba’s Sail Barge will be available beyond the US & Canada, in Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Spain, and the UK. Limited quantities will be available to purchase here on Thursday, 3/28.

We did send a follow up asking how they plan to prevent buyers from Canada and the US since e-bay is set-up right now (at least how we see it) to accept those buyers.  We assume we won’t hear back until Monday.

Looks like Hasbro is getting ready for the sale of the barge outside the US, and before we get 100 emails, yes the auction does state it ships to the United States, but Hasbro said at Toy Fair, it won’t be open to people in the US.  I guess time will tell, but I think it’s listed like that while they work out the kinks, click here or below to check it out for yourself, our readers outside the US might want to bookmark that page!
