Yes, the new free content from Star Wars: Battlefront has possibly (unintentionally) teased chrome-helmeted stormtroopers … well at least their helmets.

Though having the three shiny soldiers so very close to spawn point makes them more likely to be Easter eggs. The fastest way to find them is by playing Heroes Vs. Villains ’til you hit the Twilight map. At one spawn point, you can immediately find these three frozen chrome-headed stormtroopers directly behind you. Though they don’t look like Captain Phasma and Battlefront won’t be getting Star Wars: Force Awakens DLC, this may be a hint of new customization options for the Battlefront players coming in the March update to game.

EA has been adjusting Star Wars: Battlefront since launch with free maps, new skins for heroes and gameplay updates, some have helped (like in starfighter combat, for instance) others have be completely nerfed some weapons like homing shot, which I am strongly opposed to.

If you were getting killed by homing shot before the nerf (or after) that is entirely on you (sometimes, just sometimes, it isn’t the game’s fault for you getting killed a bunch). You shouldn’t be running anywhere without a little cover close by. Now, a homing shot is next to useless and not remotely worth spending credits to unlock. (The time it takes to lock on to an enemy is simply way to long). Even before the nerf, I still preferred star cards over homing shot because it was only effective on noobs … but I digress …
